Removed Trackbacks

Thursday 30 August 2007 at 5:52 pm I'm sick of getting spam in my trackback links, so I removed the functionality. No one has every actually used it for its intended purpose so... fuck the spammers.

Cthulu Croquette is hurting

Thursday 23 August 2007 at 2:09 pm Unfortunately, I've had a pretty big hard drive crash. I've been running SpinRite for the past week in hopes of recovering data. The only real casuality is the source files to Cthulu Croquette. Which I'm pretty bummed about because it was already playable, just not perfected.

If I can't get the data back, I'll probably just upload whatever graphics/sprites I have for someone else to use.

But, I'm hopin' it won't come to that.

Two-(Minute) Tutorial: Illustrator Better Outlines

Work in Progress: Cthulu Croquette

Tuesday 14 August 2007 at 8:02 pm Part of the reason I haven't been updating a whole lot lately is, whatever free time I have, I spend working on games. I log about 45 minutes a day, right before bed. It's not much but it adds up over time. Currently, there's been a game kicking around my head in the past months - sorta an absurd sport title in the spirit of Mutant League Football and Kirby's Dream Course. I'm tentatively calling it Cthulu Croquette. I've managed to get a lot of the basics down, and I'm slowly working in artwork and gameplay adjustments. (more)

Best Japanese Store in Western PA

Tuesday 14 August 2007 at 7:50 pm If you're a bit of a Japan geek like me and you're in the Pittsburgh area, you gotta make a trip to Tokyo Foods. They're in Shadyside, right off of Penn Ave. It's a nice sized store with a fantastic selection of food and very, very good bento box lunches (the tonkatsu kicks ass). The cashier even said she could order me issues of Arcadia. I'll probably go once a week. It's my new favorite store. Check out their site here.
