Work in Progress: Cthulu Croquette

14 08 07 - 20:02 Part of the reason I haven't been updating a whole lot lately is, whatever free time I have, I spend working on games. I log about 45 minutes a day, right before bed. It's not much but it adds up over time. Currently, there's been a game kicking around my head in the past months - sorta an absurd sport title in the spirit of Mutant League Football and Kirby's Dream Course. I'm tentatively calling it Cthulu Croquette. I've managed to get a lot of the basics down, and I'm slowly working in artwork and gameplay adjustments. The graphics are coming together in pieces. A few things I've tried worked out well, a few things need re-done. I'm not really trying to figure a time I'll be finished, since this project is really for myself. But, I figure it's something to post about.

I'm taking liberties with the Cthulu mythos by making a slightly sugary coated evil. Right now I'm leaning towards two characters, with different stats as far as power and spin are concerned (which are adjustable via RPG elements in game, along with a few other stats) who'll each have an unlockable version with different stats. I'm also toying with at least one secret character.
